Ingredients

To roast:

5 lbs tomatillos, husked, rinsed, cut in half
2 serrano peppers
2 poblano peppers
1 large red onion
6 cloves garlic
2 tbsp canola oil

To blend in:

2 limes, juiced
1 tsp cumin
salt & pepper to taste
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, to taste
1 handful cilantro

TOMATILLO SALSA Directions

  1. Put the vegetables on a pan to roast (convection roast, 375 degrees) for about 30 minutes.

  2. Put the roasted vegetables into a blender and add the other ingredients.  Blend to desired consistency.  Add water if too thick.
